Wurtz Providing Good Minutes for Cloud County

Former Clifton-Clyde Eagle Shea Wurtz is continuing her basketball career at Cloud County and she's already making an impact in her freshman season. 

They have a record of 10-2 and Shea has played in all 12 games. For the season, Shea is averaging nearly nine points and seven rebounds per game while shooting over 57% from the field. 

Shea's two best games so far were back in November. She posted 20 points, eight rebounds, and four steals against KCK. She followed that up with 20 points, eight rebounds, and two steals against Bethany College JV. 

In her two most recent games she had nine points and 15 rebouds against Independence and then she had 10 points and five rebounds against Coffeyville. 

Her senior season at Clifton-Clyde, Shea was First Team All-League and Second Team All-State from KSHSAA Covered.
