Lierz Providing Important Minutes for T-Birds

Darcy Lierz has been giving the Cloud County Community College women's basketball team some big minutes this season.

The freshman and former Hiawatha Redhawk has played in 20 or more minutes in every single game this season for the T-Birds. She even played every single minute against Independence Community College on January 3rd.

Darcy is averaging 6.5 points per game including three games in double digits. She also averages 5.5 rebounds per game which is the fourth most on the team. Darcy is also the fifth-most accurate shooter on the team with a field goal percentage of 39.4%.

She was a two-time First Team All-Big 7 selection while at Hiawatha and led the league in steals. Darcy was also an All-State Honorable Mention her senior season.
