Gerety continues sophomore season with KU baseball

The former Nemaha Central Thunder multi-sport athlete is currently in the middle of his sophomore season with the KU baseball team.

Tyler has tallied 22 at-bats in 19 games played this season with his best game coming against Air Force last month. He drove in three runs on three hits and scored five runs in what was a 19-4 win for the Jayhawks.

He played in 28 games last season as a freshman and was named to the Academic All-Big 12 team.

Tyler was the #10 player coming out of high school and was part of the 2019 State Championship football team.
