Wathena Native Enjoys National Championship Run at Hutch

This week’s “Blast from the Past” is Xavier Stillman of the Hutchinson Community College football team.  

Xavier is from Wathena and enjoyed his freshman season at Hutch by making it all the way to the National Championship game.

The Blue Dragons were undefeated going into the Title game but lost to Iowa Western to finish their season at 11-1.

Xavier played in seven games and racked up seven tackles and a sack. One of those tackles was recorded in the National Championship game.
