Lindstrom Earns KJCCC Defensive Player of the Week

Our “Blast from the Past” this week takes us to Barton Community College. Former Hiawatha Redhawk Clara Lindstrom is beginning to make a name for herself as a defensive specialist and Libero.

Clara was just named KJCCC defensive player of the week for her recent efforts with the Cougars.

They moved Clara into that Libero position for their four weekend matches, and she averaged over five digs per set. She was also the target of 109 serves and she held strong with a .42 error rate per set.

During her senior year at Hiawatha, she was First Team All-League in both volleyball and basketball.
