Alleigh Kramer's Season Ends With Benedictine but the Best is Yet to Come

This week's "Blast from the Past" is Alleigh Kramer who was a former star at Nemaha Central.  

Kramer is continuing her success at the next level for the Benedictine Ravens basketball team. The Ravens are 12-4 overall and 5-2 in conference play and have been inside the top-25 rankings this season.

Kramer started 15 games and averaged over 11 points per game along with nearly five rebounds, three assists, and two steals per game before suffering a season ending knee injury in the game against Central Methodist.

She had a season high of 22 points back in November in a win over Columbia and scored in double figures in eight of the 15 games she played.

At Nemaha Central, she led the Thunder to a #1 ranking in Class 3A and a perfect 24-0 record her senior season. She averaged over 18 points, nearly five assists, and over four steals per game and was named First Team All-League, First Team 3A All-State, First Team All-State in all classes, and was noted as a top five player in the state.

Kramer was also First Team All-League and Honorable Mention All-State in volleyball and was an individual state track and field champ her junior year and was part of three state team titles in track.
