Hajek Eclipses 7,000 Career Rushing Yards in Win vs. Council Grove

Another weekly honor for Nemaha Central's Carter Hajek as the Thunder rolled past Council Grove in the Regional Round of the playoffs last week 34-12. 

Hajek finished with 347 total yards and five touchdowns. He completed 6-of-9 passes for 100 yards and a touchdowns while adding 37 carries for 247 yards and four more scores. 

He joined elite company as he surpassed 7,000 career rushing yards as he's only the eighth 11-man player to hit that mark in Kansas history. 

Nemaha Central will host Sabetha in the Sectional Round of the Class 2A Playoffs this week.
