Morton Posts Eight First Half Touchdowns in Hiawatha's Big Win vs. Osawatomie

Hiawatha running back Ethan Morton finished the 2025 season in strong fashion this past week in the Redhawks 78-7 win at Osawatomie. 

Ethan had eight touchdowns, all in the first half, in what was an incredible performance to cap off his season. He had seven touchdowns on offense and added a 65-yard pick-six on defense.

Ethan finished the game with 21 carries for 301 yards and those eight touchdowns. He didn't carry the ball one time in the second half. 

For the season, Ethan finished with 1,147 rushing yards with 14 touchdowns while averaging 7.7 yards per carry. He had two non-offensive touchdowns with the pick-six at Osawatomie and a kickoff return touchdown earlier in the season.
