Lukert Continues Strong Track Season for Sabetha

Sabetha's Charlie Lukert continued his strong 2025 season with a big time showing last week at their home meet. 

Charlie dominated the 1600m run winning the event by more than 20 seconds. He was also part of both the 4x400m and 4x800m relay teams that took home first place finishes. 

Charlie is just as good in the classroom sporting a 3.8 GPA with his name on the honor roll all three years of high school. 

Charlie is hoping to run track at the collegiate level and possibly major in graphic design. 

Head coach Dave Remmers: "He is certainly worth of that distinction as he works incredibly hard to keep improving and lower his times as much as possible. He gives maximum effort in practice and during meets in the events he competes in."
