Hanni Hits Game Winning Three at Rock Creek

Kailyn Hanni of Silver Lake continued her strong season last week as the Eagles went 2-0 against Rock Creek and Sabetha.

Kailyn hit the game-winning three pointer as time expired at Rock Creek to give the Eagles a 50-49 win. In that game, she had 16 points, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals.

They beat Sabetha by 46 in their next game and Kaylin had 16 points, seven assists, six steals, and three rebounds.

The all-state guard is averaging 18.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.6 assists, and 3.4 steals per game for the defending 3A champs.

Silver Lake is the #3 ranked team in the classification and have won eight straight games since their only loss of the season against 1A-I #2 Centralia back in December.
