Frehe Helps Undefeated Thunder Capture Thunder Classic Championship
The Nemaha Central boys basketball team continue to be dominant this season winning the 11th Annual Thunder Classic.
6’8 senior Colby Frehe has been a matchup nightmare for the opposition and posted three fantastic games en route to the tournament championship.
In the 52-32 quarterfinals win against Hiawatha, Colby scored eight points, added 12 rebounds with three blocks and two assists.
In the 49-30 semifinal win over Troy, Colby scored 12 points with 12 rebounds and three blocks. And, in the 53-45 win over #8 3A St. Marys in the title game, Colby went 6-for-6 from the floor with 13 points, 11 rebounds, and three blocks.
Nemaha Central is undefeated on the season at 12-0 and ranked #6 in Class 3A.
