Holton's Taven Dick off to Undefeated Start for Wildcats Wrestling Team

Holton wrestler Taven Dick is off to a solid start in his 2024 season. He’s a perfect 11-0 and is coming off a tournament win at 215 pounds this past weekend at Clay Center.

He defeated Brody Mattox of York in the championship match by a 4-2 decision.

Taven, a senior, currently leads the team in points scored and he’s tied for the team lead with seven falls on the season. 

It is also the first season that Dick has gone out for wrestling since his 7th grade year.
