Banfield Starts 2024 Season with Tournament Win at Rock Creek

Sabetha wrestler Holidae Banfield opened her 2024 season winning her weight class at the Rock Creek Tournament this past weekend.

She went a perfect 3-0 and won all three of her matches by pinfall in the first round. Her first match went 19 seconds, second match took 63 seconds and her third match went 31 seconds.

This is Holidae’s second season wrestling for the Bluejays program and was a state qualifier last year.
