Rockey Posts Top-10 Finish at State Cross Country

Hiawatha’s Pauly Rockey completed her cross country season with a ninth place finish out of 108 total runners at the Class 3A meet at Rim Rock Farm in Lawrence.

Her time at state of 20:01.14 was the best time of her career and was a 20-second improvement on her previous career best.

For her sophomore season, she medaled in all nine races that she competed in which included one first-place finish, two second-place finishes, and three third-place finishes.

She earned all-state honors this season and has been an all-league performer in each of the last two seasons. During her freshman season, she medaled in seven of her nine events.
