Koechner Powers Ravens to Tournament Win at McLouth

Maur Hill-Mount Academy sophomore Capri Koechner is coming off a strong performance at the McLouth Tournament this past weekend.

The Ravens won the tournament going a perfect 5-0 and they didn’t drop a single set in wins over Bishop Ward, Pleasant Ridge, ACCHS, KC Christian, and Mission Valley in the championship.

Capri averaged 3.8 kills/set, 4.5 assists/set, and 3.2 digs/set while adding nine aces to the totals. The Ravens are off to a 6-1 start this season.

This is Capri’s first season taking on half the setting responsibilities. She was First Team All-NEKL last season as a freshman in basketball.
