Wikle Hits Hole-In-One at Emporia Municipal

Sabetha golfer Cullen Wikle has had a fantastic 2024 season and he added to it last week by hitting a hole-in-one at Emporia Municipal.

It was on the eighth hole, and he used a six-iron from 194 yards out. Wikle finished that day with a 74 which was good for fifth place.

This season he has medaled in four of five events. He finished seventh at Sabetha, fifth at the Big 7 Preseason Tourney, fifth at Nemaha Central, and fifth place at Emporia.

Last season he placed second at Regional’s and would go on to finish eighth place at the Class 3A State Tournament.
