Loiseau Hitting Grand Slams on the Diamond and Breaking Records on the Track

It was a busy and productive week for Frankfort’s Lane Loiseau both on the diamond and track.

Last week for the baseball team against 3A Marysville, Lane hit a grand slam and had a dominant pitching performance in what was a 10-1 Frankfort win. The Wildcats are 9-3 and were ranked seventh in 2-1A in the latest KABC rankings.

Last week during the track event at Frankfort, Lane won the 100 and 200 meter dash. His time of 23.09 in the 200 broke the school record that dated back to 2001. He also anchored the first place 4x100 meter relay team and finished fourth place in the shot put.

Lane was part of the 4x100 meter relay team his freshman year when they placed second at state and he placed fourth at state in the 100-meter dash in his sophomore season.

This is his second athlete of the week honor this year as he was honored back in the fall with a five touchdown performance in the football playoffs.
