Peek Wins Three Events at Home Track & Field Meet

Holton track athlete Brayden Peek started his season strong winning three events at the Wildcats’ home track meet last week.

Brayden won the 200-meter dash, high jump, and 400-meter dash as the Wildcats scored 194 points in the event which was 71 points more than the second-place finisher.

Last season as a sophomore, Brayden broke the 31-year-old school record in the 400-meter dash with a time of 50.87 seconds which at the time was seventh among all classes in the state.

He also had a top three-mark last season in the high jump in 4A and anchored the 4x400 and 4x800 meter relay teams which both had top five marks in 4A.
