Rowe leads Jeff West girls golf to tournament win at West Franklin

The Jefferson West girls golf team won the West Franklin tournament last week and Taylor Rowe was the individual champion.

Taylor shot a nine-hole round of 43 to finish in the top spot. It's her second individual title of her career. 

Overall, it was a big-time improvement for the Tigers in that tournament from last year to this season. Last season, their team score was 212 but their winning score this season was 189.

Taylor also had four of her teammates earn a medal in that tournament.

Taylor led the Tigers last season with a 92 at the Regional tournament which led the team. 

She has a 4.0 GPA and is also a member of numerous clubs including being the president of the FFA chapter.
