Peek breaks 31-year-old Holton record in 400-meter dash

The Holton track and field team continues their strong season and Brayden Peek is just another Wildcat adding to the accolades.

Brayden broke a 31-year-old school record last Thursday at the Atchison Invitational with a 400-meter dash time of 50.87 seconds.

That time ranks Brayden 7th among all classes in Kansas.

Brayden is ranked 3rd in 4A in the high jump and he’s also the anchor for both the 4x400 and 4x800 meter relay teams which both rank 5th in 4A.

His coach says he’s one of the hardest workers on the team and shows up everyday to put the work in.
