Steinbrock Ties Clifton Clyde Record for Assists in a Game

The Clifton Clyde girls basketball team is off to a 4-0 start and sophomore Lillian Steinbrock has been a crucial part to the early season success.

This past Friday in a 62-31 win over Pike Valley, Lillian tied the Clifton Clyde school record with nine assists while adding eight steals to her stat line along with three points and three rebounds.  

The Eagles won the Cloud County T-Bird Classic on Saturday by beating Washington County 55-40. Lillian stuffed the stat sheet once again with seven points, six rebounds, four assists, three steals and one block.

She’s averaging over five points, four assists, three rebounds and three steals per game.

Lillian was one of just three freshman who earned All-League honors last season as she was named to the Second Team.
