Menold Shines with Monster Performance as Sabetha Advances in 2A Playoffs

The Sabetha Bluejays won a Regional Title on Friday night as they beat down Riley County to advance in the 2A Playoffs with a 48-13 win.

Sabetha once again leaned on the running game and leading the charge this week was Colin Menold. Colin gashed the Falcons defense with 39 carries for 248 yards and four touchdowns.

It was only the second time this season that Colin eclipsed the century mark in rushing. Colin’s season numbers are 97 carries for 629 yards and six touchdowns while averaging over six yards per carry.

The Bluejays are in the Sectional round of the playoffs this week as they will host Caney Valley. The game will be broadcasted on the Sabetha Channel courtesy of MSC Sports.
