Grady Buessing Will Look to Cap Stellar Season with State Title

Axtell’s Grady Buessing will continue his stellar cross-country season at the State Meet this weekend in Wamego.

Grady won the 1A Regional Meet at Washington County this past weekend and he also won the TVL Meet the week prior.

Grady also had multiple first place finishes during the regular season at Onaga and Nemaha Central. He had two second place finishes as well at Marysville and Washington County.

Last season, he finished second at the TVL Meet, third at the Regional Meet, and 10th place at the State Meet. This past spring at the State Track and Field Meet, Grady finished second place in both the 800 and 1600 meter runs.
