Cole Continues Stellar Career with D-West Cross Country Team

A senior leader for the Doniphan West Cross Country team is Claire Cole. Claire has posted back-to-back top 10 finishes by finishing sixth at Hiawatha and fifth this past weekend at Centralia.

Claire has been a major part of two State Championship teams in her career plus a runner up finish last year at State.

Claire helped the Mustangs cross country team to a league title last season finishing in second place individually.

Claire has also been recognized for her play in other sports such as volleyball, basketball, and track.

According to D-West cross country coach Keith Edmonds, “Claire is a leader for her team and very dedicated to her sport.”

He adds Claire’s hard work is what stands out within each sport that she plays.
