Elffner Stacking Numbers as Hiawatha Volleyball Continues to Roll

The Hiawatha volleyball team has been on a dominant stretch in recent weeks and that continued this past Saturday as the Redhawks won the Hiawatha Invitational Tournament for a fourth consecutive season.

Abby Elffner has been dominant so far this season as she’s helped Hiawatha to 10 straight wins.

The 6’1 junior has already recorded 156 kills this season after netting 201 kills last season as a sophomore. According to MaxPreps, Abby is currently #8 in the State in kills for all 3A players while also ranking #8 in Ace Serves.

The buzz is picking up for Abby as the coaching staff is receiving weekly messages from colleges who are interested in recruiting her.
