Jeff Wests' Roenne Continues Dominance in the Triple Jump
Mellany Roenne of Jefferson West is a returning state medalist in the triple jump, and she has won all of her triple jump competitions this season including last week at Nemaha Central.
She also picked up a first-place finish at Nemaha Central in the long jump.
This season, Mellany has also competed in the 400, 800, 4x400, and 4x800 with some 300-meter hurdle races upcoming.
She is currently on the Catch It Kansas State 3A leaderboards in the 400, triple jump, and long jump.
The senior was a unanimous selection for Big 7 All-League in basketball and was named Honorable Mention All-League for volleyball.
