Gatzemeyer Helps Valley Falls to #2 Ranking in Class 2A
Avery has been an important piece for the Dragons as they’re off to an undefeated 9-0 start and are currently ranked #2 in Class 2A according to the latest rankings from the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association.
Last week in a pair of wins over Jefferson County North and McLouth, Avery posted 18 points at JCN and then tallied 23 against McLouth.
Avery is averaging over 14 points per game this season.
For his career, Avery is a 3-year starter and is a 2-time First Team All-League selection in the Northeast Kansas League.
Avery has also made 122 three pointers in his career.
