Servaes & Smith Putting Together Strong Season for Atchison Wrestling

Seniors Kate Servaes and Carissa Smith of the Atchison wrestling team posted strong performances at the Mid-Buchanan Tournament on Friday.

Kate at 132 and Carissa at 170 both finished in second place in their weight class. The Mid-Buchanan Tournament is one of the bigger tournaments in the area which produces some of the best wrestlers in both Eastern Kansas and Western Missouri.

These two works as hard as anyone and represent Atchison both on the mat and in the classroom as honor roll students.
