Blaha With a Big Rushing Game in Centralia's Win Over Lyndon

Jarod Blaha of the Centralia football team is one of our athletes of the week. The Panthers advanced to the Class 1A Sub-State round after defeating Lyndon last Friday night, 53-22.

Blaha tallied 14 carries for 116 yards and two touchdowns in the win.

On the season, Blaha has rushed for 741 yards with seven touchdowns while averaging close to seven yards per carry. He’s added 13 catches for 243 yards and a touchdown. The 243 receiving yards is the most on the team.

Defensively he’s added 20 total tackles.

The Panthers will host top-ranked, undefeated and the defending state champion Olpe Eagles on Friday night with a trip to the State Championship game on the line.
