Hodge Headed to State for Fourth Straight Season

For the past two years, Hiawatha senior Justin Hodge has seemed to be at the top of nearly every cross country meet that he has competed in.

That continued last week as Hodge punched his ticket to the state meet for the second straight season with a third-place finish in the Class 3A Riley County regional.

This comes after Hodge claimed his fourth straight Big 7 League Title last week as he won by just two seconds.

He has finished in the top 10 of every meet he has finished so far this season and is set to head back to state where he finished 15th a year ago.

Hodge will be competing in his fourth state meet coming up on Saturday as the state meet is scheduled to take place in Wamego beginning at 12:30 p.m.
