Jeff West's Joel Scott Reaches 100 Career Wrestling Wins

In four years of wrestling at Jeff West, current senior Joel Scott has gradually saw his success go from good to great posting a winning record in each of his four seasons on the mat.

Scott recently reached one of the highest honors a high school wrestler could have as he reached the 100-win mark in his career on his way to a second-place finish at the Atchison Invitational.

He now has over 25 wins on the season and over 105 for his career with less than 35 losses to his credit as well.

He went 36-6 a year ago and reached the state tournament where we went 1-2 at 170 pounds while he also reached the state tournament his freshman campaign going 1-2 at 126 pounds.

Most recently he took third place at the Silver Lake Invitational on Saturday making it every meet where he has placed in so far this season.

Scott is well on his way to earning another trip to the state tournament with the Big 7 League meet left before regionals in just two weeks.
