Axtell Eagle, Olivia Kuckelman Off & Running to Start Cross Country Season

Off and running the cross country season is underway and after a strong freshman campaign Axtell Eagle sophomore, Olivia Kuckelman is off to a strong start this year.

Axtell among other schools opened their cross country season at Marysville Invite on Saturday and Kuckelman raced to the best time on the day to take first out of 33 runners. A time of 22:36.32 earned the Eagle sophomore first place by over 15 seconds.

As a freshman Kuckelman busted onto the cross country season in impressive fashion registering several top flight finishes including winning the Twin Valley League title, placing seventh at Regionals and then 19th out of 80 runners at 1A State.

Kuckelman looks to build upon her strong performance to open the season and set the flight pattern for another strong year in cross country competition.
