Pleasant Ridge Ram, Lindsey Heim Helping Guide Rams to 3-1 Start

As a freshman last year, Lindsey Heim jumped into the fold on the court at the varsity level for Pleasant Ridge and made a big impact scoring double figures multiple times during the season and earned a spot in the starting lineup.

Back for her sophomore campaign and joined by several other returners for the Rams the team is off to a 3-1 start on the hardwood. That includes notching a 51-50 win over Jackson Heights last week, a game in which Heim poured in 19 points to pace the Rams. The sophomore led the team in scoring the prior game also posting 16 points in the victory against Heritage Christian, while notching 12 points in the other two games of the season against Oskaloosa and Valley Falls.

Heim through the first four games of the season is averaging 14.3 points per game with 5.3 rebounds per game and 1.7 steals per game and been a crucial piece to the puzzle for the Rams as she is building on her success as a freshman.

The solid start to the season for Heim along with her teammates has the Rams playing well to start the season going into the holiday break and they look to continue to build upon the early season success to push them forward in the season and Northeast Kansas League play.
