Bryan Boasts Top Triple Jump in 3A

Royal Valley’s Bowen Bryan earns Athlete of the Week honors after putting together an outstanding track and field season, highlighted by his dominance in the triple jump.

Bryan captured another win last week at DeSoto with a mark of 43' 2.5", continuing a remarkable run that has seen him place first in every meet this season except the K-State Relays. His season-best jump of 44' 10.75" currently ranks No. 1 in Class 3A.

Beyond the triple jump, Bryan has been a key contributor for Royal Valley’s relay teams. He plays an important role on the 4x400-meter relay squad, which recently came within two seconds of breaking the school record—a record set in 2024 with Bryan as part of that team.

He also brings valuable experience from last season, when he helped the 4x800-meter relay team qualify for the state meet.

Bryan’s versatility and consistent excellence across events continue to make him one of the top athletes to watch this season.
