Jenkins Cashes School Record Nine Threes in Win vs. NEK

Chance Jenkins of Jefferson County North is helping lead one of the biggest turnarounds in Northeast Kansas this season on the basketball floor.

The Chargers are 15-5 overall entering the final week of the regular season after just four wins all of last year.

Last week, Chance poured in 31 points and a school record nine threes in their win Friday against NEK. He’s averaging a team high 15.8 points per game and added 19 points against Oskaloosa earlier in the week.

This season, Chance is shooting over 50% from the floor and over 30% from three while adding over 70% at the free throw line. Outside of his nearly 16 points per game, he's added 4.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 2.0 steals per game.
