Cohorst Powers Hanover Past Axtell to Reach 8M-II State Title Game

Hanover quarterback Kadrick Cohorst powered the Wildcats past Axtell 34-24 in the Sub-State round last week to secure their spot in the 8M-II State Title game. 

Against Axtell, Kadrick completed 9-of-16 passes 183 yards and four touchdowns while adding 29 carries for 124 yards and another score. 

This season, Kadrick has completed over 76% of his passes for 1,376 yards with 29 touchdowns and only four interceptions. He's added 630 rushing yards on seven yards per carry with 20 more scores. 

The Wildcats were 2-0 against Axtell this season and ended the Eagles' 58-game winning streak at the end of the regular season. 

Hanover has outscored their opponents this season 583-88. 

The #1 ranked Wildcats are 12-0 and will play 11-0 Victoria on Saturday night at 7 PM in Greensburg for the State Championship.
