Seneca Legion Tops Marysville to Remain Unbeaten

Looking to continue their hot start to the legion baseball season Post 21 Seneca legion squad headed out on the road on Wednesday night to face off against Marysville and came home with another win this season.

Seneca used runs late in the game to grab the 10-7 win posting 12 hits in the contest with four players registering multi-hit games. Leading the way was Alex Rottinghaus with a 2-2 night, a double in the third and single in the seventh adding a pair of runs scored, two RBI and a walk. Michael Rottinghaus, Eric Huerter and Devin Henry each posted two-hits, also with every player with an at-bat in the game getting on the base pads at least once on the hit.

On top of a two-hit night, Huerter pitched one inning of relief to pick up the pitching victory.

With the win Seneca improved to 5-0 on the season and will again be in action this weekend at Atchison on Saturday at 6:00pm.
