Scholar Athlete Award for Bobcat Baseball Player

 The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced that 266 Division I Men's baseball student-athletes have been named 2013 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

Peru State Bobcat baseball player, Philip Lial (Las Vegas, Nev.), was among the 266 honored.

For Lial, this was his first recognition. 

The senior first baseman is a criminal justice major.
