Peru State Softball Schedule Changes

        Today’s Peru State softball games scheduled to be played at Bellevue University have been cancelled and will not be rescheduled.

Peru State will host Missouri Valley College in a double header beginning at 2 p.m. on Friday.  Then, the Bobcats will travel to play MidAmerica Nazarene University on Saturday with the double header starting at 2 p.m.

The Peru State softball games scheduled for Monday in Lincoln against Wesleyan are now scheduled for Wednesday with the first game to start at 5 p-m. 

By virtue of results of teams playing Monday in the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC), the Bobcats have assured themselves a spot in the upcoming, revised HAAC Tournament.  The tournament will now be a double elimination tournament held on Friday and Saturday, May 3 and 4, at the Blue Valley Rec Complex in Overland Park, Kansas.  All first round games will begin at 1 p.m. with second round games played at 3 p.m. on Friday.  Elimination games will also be played on Friday at 5 p.m.  Peru State’s final seeding will not be determined until after all HAAC games have been completed Saturday afternoon.
