Peru State Softball Sweeps Conference Opener

 After a rough non-conference start, the Peru State Bobcat softball team responded with a double header sweep in their Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) opener.

 At home for the first time, the 'Cats swept a pair from the Culver-Stockton College Wildcats 13-4 (5 innings) and 11-9.

 With the two wins, Peru State improved to 4-14 overall and is 2-0 in the HAAC.   Culver-Stockton fell to 6-9 overall and 0-2 in the HAAC.
