Area Athletes Among Peru State College Football Recruits
(Peru, Neb.) – Peru State football head coach Steve Schneider recently released the Bobcats’ first list of commitments for the fall of 2013.
The 40+ commitments will join 75 current players who will begin their spring practice on Monday, March 25.
Most of the recruits will be true freshmen with a few transfers adding to the mix.

Schneider is pleased with this initial group of commitments. Schneider noted, “As a coaching staff, we have worked hard to identify young men who will fit into our program and who can also come in and contribute in our football program. We are not done as of yet and will continue to look for some difference makers.”
In conclusion, Schneider added, “These commitments, along with our 75 current players, will work hard next fall to improve upon what we did this past season.”
