Husker Baseball Team Begins League Play Friday

 Following a five-game trip to the state of California, where the Nebraska baseball team went a combined 1-4 against UC Irvine and Cal State Fullerton, the Huskers open Big Ten play on Friday with the Illinois Fighting Illini in Champaign, Ill.

The Huskers and Illini meet at 4:05 p.m. on Friday, March 22 at Illinois Field, continue the series on Saturday, March 23 at 3:05 p.m. and conclude the weekend on Sunday, March 24 with a 12:05 p.m. showdown.

After returning to Lincoln from Illinois, Nebraska plays its 12th-straight game away from Hawks Field with a trip to Manhattan, Kan., on Tuesday, March 26 for one game with the Kansas State Wildcats.
