Auburn's Williams to Compete for NU Track Team

(KTNC) - An Auburn High School senior will compete for the University of Nebraska Track Team. 
 Tierra Williams is one of 14 incoming student-athletes who will compete for the Huskers beginning in the 2014 season.
 Williams enters her senior season at Auburn as a three-time Class B state champion, winning the Triple Jump and 100-meter dash in 2012 and the Long Jump in 2011.  She was runner-up in the Long Jump at last year’s state meet.
 Williams has recorded personal bests of 12.20-seconds in the 100-meter dash; 25.77-seconds in the 200-meters; 19-feet, 2-and-a-quarter inches in the Long Jump; and 36-feet, 9-and-a-half inches in the Triple Jump.
 Williams is one of four signees from Nebraska.  The class is represented by ten states and Jamaica, and includes nine athletes who have combined for 17 state titles, two A-A-U national championships, and two N-J-C-A-A national championships.
