Falls City Wins Pair From Hiawatha

The Falls City Tiger girls and boys picked up wins over Hiawatha Tuesday night at McIntyre-Henderson Fieldhouse at Falls City. 

In the girls game the Lady Tigers won their second straight game, picking up a 43-35 victory.  The Tigers girls are now 2-1 and the Redhawk girls are 0-2.

Falls City was led in scoring by Tressa Chandler with 12 points and Claire Poppe added 11, all coming in the second half.

The Falls City boys are now 3-0 after their 61-49 victory.  Senior Cord Huettner scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Tigers.  Wade Witt added 11 points and 7 boards and Mitchell Harling scored 9, and had 7 assists.

Hiawatha (1-1) was led by Taylor Lee with 12 points.
