Huskers Ameida Named Big 10 Player of Week

Nebraska’s Andre Almeida has been named the Big 10 Player of the Week in men’s basketball.  The 6’11” senior from Brazil led the Huskers to a win over Wake Forest in the ACC/Big 10 Challenge collecting his first career double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds.
In that game Almeida hit 9 of 10 shots and blocked three shots.
