Peru State Men Lose to Doane

Doane rallied for a 75-73 win at Peru State on Tuesday evening.  The win improved the Tigers to 2-0 on the season.
 
Trailing by one with under 30 seconds to go, Doane received a three-point basket from Austin Benson to take a two-point lead with 16 seconds remaining.
 
Nick Reed led all scores with 26 points for the Tigers.  Connor Beranek added 21 points and both players recorded double-doubles by posting 10 rebounds.

 Peru State received 22 points from Derrick Williams while Richard Oppitz had a game-high 16 rebounds.

Kody Kirkpatrick had 14 for the Bobcats and Nate Bohy added a dozen.
