Williams Sets Personal Best for Bobcats at Haskell Invitational

Despite running with a form of tendonitis, Peru State College (PSC) Bobcat senior Sarah Williams (Hiawatha, Kan.) finished sixth in the Haskell Indian Nations University Invitational.  The 5K Invite was held Saturday, Oct. 6, in Lawrence, Kan., on the Haskell campus, and was run with the temperature hovering just above freezing.
 
Williams set her personal best time in the 5K run finishing in 18:49.97 while averaging just over six minutes per mile.  There were 107 runners competing in the invitational.
