Wetmore, Frankfort & Onaga Volleyball Play in Onaga Invite

With the ending of the season drawing near many Kanzaland area volleyball squads took part in volleyball tournaments over the weekend. The Onaga Buffalos hosted a tournament featuring three other Twin Valley League teams in Frankfort, Blue Valley-Randolph and Wetmore. Wabaunsee and Mission Valley also participated in the tournament.

With six total teams in the tournament everyone played each other on the day. The top teams on the day in the action were both non Kanzaland teams as Mission Valley went 5-0 in action taking first place, while Wabaunsee went 4-1 and took second place.

For the Kanzaland area teams it was a mirror image of each other for Wetmore, Frankfort and Onaga record wise as they all finished 3-2. While, the other TVL team at the tournament Blue Valley-Randolph went 0-5 in action.

Fifteen matches total on the day at the Onaga Invitational and of all the matchups only one went three sets on the day that being between TVL foes Onaga and Frankfort.
