Rossville Softball Qualifies for State Tournament

The Rossville softball team advanced to the 2-1A State Tournament on Wednesday night winning a regional title at Bennington. 

The Dawgs defeated Horton in the first round 14-1, defeated Sacred Heart 10-0 in the semifinals, and defeated Bennington in the championship game 11-4. 

Rossville has won eight straight games and will enter the state tournament next week with an overall record of 22-7. 

The losses for Rossville this season came against Silver Lake, Santa Fe Trail twice, Hayden, Onaga, Holton, and Nemaha Central.
