Riverside Baseball Captures First League Title Ever
The Riverside baseball team captured their first league title in school history on Thursday night, securing the 2026 Northeast Kansas League title after sweeping McLouth 8-3 and 3-2.
The Cyclones finished the league schedule with a record of 14-2 with their lone losses against Maur Hill-Mount Academy and Valley Falls. Both the Ravens and Dragons finished with three losses in league play.
In the non-league portion of the schedule this season, the Cyclones were swept by 2-1A #7 Frankfort and split with 2-1A #10 Doniphan West.
Riverside finished the regular season with an overall record of 15-5 and will be the #3 seed in their regional as they will host a first round game next Wednesday.
